Hello, I've just started working on a conversion of my old Y-11 Mountain bike using the Cruzbike conversion kit. I seem to be stuck though, and I'm not sure if I'm missing something or if my fork is incompatible with the kit. The fork in question is a Rock Shox Psylo SL from maybe 7-9 years ago or something? It has mounts for disk brakes, and these seem to interfere with the FWD bracket. With a bit of luck, I've attached a photo.
It seems like this would be an issue for most modern forks, since the disk brake mounts should be standard (or is mine old enough that the standard is different now). It also seems like a bracket could be made to work with this pretty easily -- just by extending the arm that gets clamped to the fork a bit.
The other issue I had was that the cartridge BB for my bike is a 73mm cartridge; a problem easily solved with $$, but having a list of components that are broadly compatible on the website would be nice (did I miss that? -- I saw one for the Silvio frameset).
thanks for any help or suggestions,
--tmp
P.S. I posted this on the Yahoo Group, and I'm not sure what the relationship between that and this is, so sorry if I'm spamming this to the same group of people twice....
