Yes indeed - there

Ratz -

Yes indeed - there are a limited number of extra seats for purchase. Details on the web should follow here soon. I will say that is is much lighter and is really good looking too!

There are more holes in it

There are more holes in it than I expected. What are the other ones for?

Bruce, did you drill them or did it come that way?

I'll bet the seat comes that way. Just like the original Silvio's seat (back in the day when they were aluminum) the pairs of holes on the side should be spaced for mounting water bottle cages.

It's nice to know that Cruzbike has some spares for sale. I imagine they'll be hot sellers to replace the pervious fiberglass/carbon veneer seats.

Holes

Yes, the seat came with the holes preinstalled.

The two at the bottom are used to fasten the seat to the "horns" on the frame.

The two at the top fasten the top of the seat to the headrest frame.

The others are for attachment of two water bottle cages.

Interesiting and time saving.

At one point I thought John said he was against the idea of putting water bottles in those locations because of the affect on Air Flow. Sure will be nice to have a seat that has that as a ready made option. (Lenyze Flow Cages recommended) but I wonder which one is better; behind the head or under the seat.

I think the water bottles

I think the water bottles will be on the seat back so out of the air stream.
Any photos from the side?

The water bottles behind the kneck are for streamlining???

The answer is both! Behind

The answer is both! Behind the neck and under the seat! :)
