After some guidance from the group and watching the video, imma put this thing together myself. The video remark on a few areas where "grease" has to be applied but doesn't remark on specific parameters for this grease. I haven't lubed alot of bikes myself so I could use some specific guidance in this regard. What grease do I use for the structural joints in the S40 assembly?

Any plain thread grease is good - does not necessarily need to be a "bike" branded kind. I have used Vaseline in a pinch before - just a tiny bit needed.
ok ok, WD-40 though is prohibited?

No WD-40…..use grease as Robert stated.
WD-40 is the scourge of hardware store/society - definitely don't use it on anything especially on a bike chain/bolts/etc.
Only use it for water displacement/Atlas Missile corrosion if you have one.
