I have just assembled my Etap, Jagwire Pro cables and Spyre disc brake system.

I've not made it to the road, but I feel totally underwhelmed with the brake lever feel. It takes most of the lever travel to get a good grip on the rotor. Without riding it, I don't know how much braking power is being generated. They have a completely different feel than the brakes on my Quest.
I have not put tape on my bars. Without much effort I can squeeze the brake lever back to the handlebar. It will only get worst with a layer of tape chewing up travel distance.
Any ideas?
