I'm hoping due to the forward position of the crank on a recumbent that the pedals will always be in the correct angle for foot entry due to the weighted side always down.

Yes they do - you will not have problem on the recumbent with the Look Keo's that come with the Garmin Vectors. Good Luck. It will be interesting for you to be able to compare actual power required to ride the Vendetta against your upright. Hopefully you will be able to ride the same route you have already collected power on on your DF.

I suspect, that the cleats work best in their most rearest position (nearest to the heel)?
