The big day is finally coming – I’ve gathered all the parts needed for the upgrade, and soon I’ll showcase the final result. It took me almost half a year to collect everything, taking my time and hunting for deals. I selected the components based on my own preferences—sure, I could have saved more in some areas, but I gave in to my whims. The carbon wheels are especially cool, featuring the trendy wavy rim design. Once the bike is ready, I’ll share some photos.

I get away with 1 to 1. But I only do short sections of very steep roads. I suppose as long as you can stay upright and in a straight line you can go as low as you want. I did have a Surly LHT that had 24 front 36 rear. It would climb a wall with panniers but you had to pedal fast.
