Since you live near St Augustine, do you ever ride with the NFBC group on Saturday mornings? They are a great group. We don't make it to other rides too often. It is easier to jump in a group closer to home. Maybe one of these days, we can be efficient enough to make it. It would be great to see a cruzbike on the road. I haven't seen one in FL yet. Two Texas friends had them when we lived there.

The Smoothie Ride? I’ve been wanting to hit that one for a while just haven’t been able to. I have attended NFBC events, Endless Summer Watermelon Ride and Tour de Forts, which they canceled this year. I’ve seen a couple of Cruzbikes and other recumbents on those events. There is a ride in St Mary’s coming up I might go up for. And forgive me for not offering sooner, but if you wanted to check my S40 out just let me know. I can’t promise I’ll be as good as Larry teaching you but we’ll give it a shot!

The ones i think that are closest to you are the St Augustine Saturday rides. They might do a Wednesday one too. For example, this is this Saturday's ride from the NFBC calendar https://nfbc.us/content.aspx?page_id=4091&club_id=597416&item_id=2296511. What pace do you favor? Might take you up on that lesson offer. I bought the S40 that was on the sale forum. It should arrive next week. So exciting! I probably won't be fit to ride it in groups for a while though.

Whenever you get all set up, I’d be more than happy to meet up and we’ll see about getting you rolling, just send me a direct message and we can work out the details. The Cruzbike YouTube channel “how to ride” videos are great and if you have the balance to ride a regular bike, you can ride a Cruzbike. As far as my pace, depends on my mood but I mostly enjoy endurance pace or party pace.
