Foam seat hack for S40

Possibly someone is doing this. The Ventapad or what ever it’s called that came with the bike just was not cutting it for me. So I ordered the Bacchetta pad and then cut a square of foam to put behind my lumbar area. I strapped it down with Velcro straps and now I am floating on air:). Sometimes.

I used a portion of an old memory foam mattress topper on my ActionBent. An electric carving knife works well for cutting and shaping. (Do not rat me out.) Have not needed it on the "V" (longest ride to date is 50 miles, so I might need it later).

My big problem is staying put. The ActionBent has under seat steering, so when I hit a large bump, I pushed hard on the pedals, and pulled up on the handle bars to keep me in the seat. On the "V", sometimes I feel like I need a six point harness to stay put. I think part of the problem, is that standard cycling gear has a fairly slick finish, which allows me to slide on the seat pad.
