Going to a 1x11 setup?

I don't understand. I have 10 sp. SRAM Apex shifters and X.7 derailleur and I cannot say that it deoes not work. Does Shimano work better? What Shimano?

My comment is about adding a 40T or 42T cog to a cassette, removing the 11T locker cog and replacing it with a 13T one. The 13T locker cog I bought on Ebay was specific for Shimano cassettes per the description. I don't know for sure that it will not work with a SRAM cassette because I haven't tried it. Did you put one of those 13T lockers on a SRAM cassette snilard?

Ok, I understand now. I have lockring from Absolute black and they explicitly support only Shimano cassetes: https://absoluteblack.cc/cassette-cog.html
I have Shimano XT cassete and chain but SRAM shifters and deraileurs. I never tried Sram cassete.
