I’ll be curious to see how you like them, and as importantly, whether they’ll fit. On my new S40, there’s so little clearance with the stock tires (700 x 30) that I’ve wondered if any larger tire may result in too large a diameter to fit in the fork.
700x32 will fit the pre 2020 S40 model. I have 700x32 conti S5000 on one set of wheels for road riding and 700x38 Schwalbe G-one on another set for gravel riding.

When I got the bike, it had Continental Gransport Race 700x32 tires on it...

I got the tires in last night and mounted them this morning before work. No clearence issues.

Hmmm, it looks like I have a different fork - here are some pics of mine. Only about 1/8 inch clearance between the tire and fork crown; stock wheels, tires and fork. Puzzling since I think yours is a 2020 as well. I know earlier models had different forks.

Sadly, yes. The newest S40 has less clearance. Discussed here and elsewhere. I'd be wary of tying to fill that gap, you should expect the wheel to move a bit under stress of acceleration and braking, causing the tires to rub on the fork crown.
I have 650b x 38 that easily fit the new S40. When I had them on my V20 the 38 mm 650b appeared to fit okay, but would rub a little on each side. No apparent damage to the tires, but some paint was worn off on both sides of the forks.
