Headphone Prohibition

Can you send exactly what you’re using, the s40 headrest and these shokz don’t work well together.
I'm riding a Bacchetta, waiting to get a CB, so there might be some differences, but I'm using the Shokz Open Runw ith the mini headband, and it works fine. (The mini is tighter to the neck, so I don't have any interference issues.

Yessir, but the part that goes around the head gets crushed in the S40 headrest, that’s my concern.
I have the Shokz and while they are awesome, you are exactly correct. My issue with them is that I have to setup a software PPT button in Discord and use my keyboard when racing in Zwift which is cumbersome. I'm hoping that the Noxgear 39g external speaker with mic will make communication with Discord & Zwift easier. Fingers crossed!

oh sorry, yea, the head rest will really get in the way of those. There's one remaining gen5 s40, before the new gen6 comes out nov 14. maybe they'll cut you a deal?

Ya'll. wanna resurrect this thread and concur with the 39g being a great speaker for races where headphones are prohibited. Sound was really great and kept me moving. low profile. @Always-Learnin how was yours?

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get the Noxgear 39g external speaker with mic to work with Discord that way I had desired. It may just be that I am not smart enough. I'm trying to figure out how to automatically mute the mic when I am not speaking without having to fiddle with a keyboard button or the device itself.
