Hello my name is Chuck,
I've been a member of the forum for a couple of weeks now. I've been talking with Vaughn and Larry , asking tons of questions. Both fantastic folks. They have been great ambassadors for the Cruzbike community.
I live in South Carolina, so I made a trip down to Larry's place yesterday. As recommended by Vaughn. Now I'm the proud owner of a new "used" Q45!! Got back late last night looking forward to riding it today. Woke up this morning to rain, rain , and more rain. We desperately needed it , but I wish it would have waited a couple more hrs. LOL Can't wait to ride it! Feels like Christmas morning.
Anybody looking for a used trike?:p

Welcome! Larry helped me immensely to get started with my Cruzbike. Thanks to his instruction I was able to ride my S40 the day I got it home. I am still new to it but this forum is another great source of info…as I’m sure you have seen already. Hope your weather clears today so you do some Cruzin!

Thank you. Well the rain let up yesterday enough to go riding around a bit. Mostly in my gravel driveway...It's a long driveway. Wow, I'm using muscles that haven't been used in a while. I feel like I've been wrestling a bear. I guess I did about 3 miles. Mostly trying to ride at a slow pace , and do turns. Lots of turns. I figure if I can learn to ride at a slower speed , I would have better control over all. It seems to handle the loose rock better than I expected. Much better than my Bella. Hopefully I'll get a chance to ride today.

Hey Cuck,

Welcome to the Cruzbike World! Where are you located?

I am in Easley riding an S40. I am doing most of my riding on the Swamp Rabbit Trail and the Doodle Trail when I want a little more climbing.

I'm in York. I think the Swamp Rabbit is going to be our first adventure. It might even be this weekend. If I can get some riding in before then. Where is the Doodle?

So you’re about 1.5 hours from Unity Park, where I normally start on the SRT. The Doodle is further west in Easley and runs about 7 miles up to Pickens. FWIW, I found a shopping center parking lot that wasn’t very busy, and did a LOT of learning there before venturing out on a trail.

How is your learning curve going?

The learning curve is going well. I've made several adjustments during the process , as I'm getting used to it. Each little tweak makes a difference. I think I'm going to order the wide handlebars.
