The longer fork from the Sofrider would raise the front end of the Bike Friday. I don't think the Bike Friday can take a larger rear wheel. So do you think it would be a problem to have the front end raised?

That Afar is all very well, but all those Disraeli gears would drive me even more insane than I already am. Could it have two Rohloffs and two Pinions?

You use the front with your setup and let the stoker worry about what kind of gears they use!! Everyone can be happy with two separate systems!

And the stoker can have the chainwheel going out of adjustment all the time and getting greasy hands in freezing cold weather. What is that weird grinding noise? Why have we stopped? Chain jumped off? Again? Well hurry up and fix it. I am getting bored standing holding the handlebars, clicking the shifter. I can actually do that when the bike is not moving. Have I mentioned that?
