How difficult is it to replace front disc brake cable housing?

This would be only if I only had a gear cable and needed to get home where I could switch to a proper brake cable. But what are the odds of carrying a brake cable and gear cable, and having 2 brake cables needing replacing on the same ride?

Pops told me when I was young "Be smart or be strong". I didn't know both were possible. It would have done me wonders instead of Flintstoning my way through this ride. I'll make a deal. I'll slow down if you'll teach me a thing or two. Actually, my learning curve has flattened like a tubed tire on a goatshead trail, so just letting me observe at my pace wouldn't overload my noggin and cause an accident.

Some mates and I have a cabin in the mountains booked on the dates the olympic cyclists will fly by, so we will ride up the same route a day or two before the fast peeps do it, BBQing and drinking. Once I get my "No Sicky Jabby" international flights will become a thing again. On the books are golf in Thailand, a Croatia/Italy bike tour in Summer 2023, but would love to flip my head over and see what's going on down there. Texas has big rattlesnakes, scorpions and brown recluse spiders, but those are child's play compared to the .... stuff ... you guys have down there. Gonna have to put on my thinking cap and chaps if I want to occupy my return seat on JAL.
