How to "try" to capture a KOM .. or .. Stop Light remote needed

Actually probably more likely termed "How not to try it ....", or "make a better plan before proceeding"!
.
First go ride ~110 miles to warm up.
Check the KOM you want to do and proceed to starting point.
This next part (actually 4-parts) is just hysterical (at least to me) - luckily I enjoy laughing at my self. :)
I'll stop typing now and just let you experience my frustration first hand - Enjoy!

So, here's my latest video for your viewing pleasure!

Here's a dirty little secret; set your garmin for auto pause at 5mph. If you have a KOM with a stop light on it; if you get a red stop at the light as abruptly as you can; then when it goes green blast off the line. Strava will let you "pause" on a segment for up to 2 minutes to wait for a light to change and it will still count it as a single effort just drops out the pause period like you never stopped. They had to add this to show their were not encouraging people to run red lights.

I HATE traffic lights. Round and round you went - you could do a century like that. You might as well stay on the track.

And how can that be KOM? There aren't any M there. It looks as flat as a tabletop.

I do not want to belittle Larry. I find it hard to do 33mph going downhill.

I guess Strava needs to start a new category, called KOF (King Of the Flats)!

Traffic Lights:
Yeah - the traffic lights are a pain, but at least the sprint section did not have any lights in it. It started just after one. (Maybe my video editing did not clarify that enough. Basically the first 3 passes where not even on the correct section. It did not really start until I went past the "2nd" light. That is what was so funny to me after I realized it. Initially I kept looping around on the light that did not even matter.
Oh, well - makes a good story. :)
