Hydration

In thought; expanding the paradigm of traversity
Every year i mention it... this year its a bit late. If you dont hydrate your blood boils and you get steam coming out of your ears. Your left arm is the cooling station. Get some Sugoi arm sleves and squirt some water over your arms. Instant body cooling as the blood circulates around the left arm and the heart and then around the body. It helps as instead of taking two bottles with you... you might be ok with just one!

I just got some Desoto arm coolers the other day, they are remarkable.

Trying to find some good leg ones that fit tight and form fitting. Bought some Castelli, they are horrible.

There is a certain flexibility to having arm sleeves and/or leg sleeves.

The Desoto material is also pretty wonderful but I suspect it doesn't do much for UV protection. The arm coolers noticeably cool the skin, much better than the $8 ones from China that I have. Buggers are expensive but laying flat with the sun beating down on you with a small frontal area to the wind makes for getting real hot, real quick.

When I want leg coverage I use the Voler Sol anytime I'm not wearing tights (Under Armour HeatGear, DRSKIN, Nike Pro)
I haven't used DeSotoSport's leggings, but their shirts are are okay. The fabric seems to be a little less breathable than Under Armour HeatGear stuff. I haven't yet tried the Performance Fishing Gear (in my wish list.)
