I put a car horn on my Silvio

I use a small electric 'horn'. It works better than the bell as:
- it is loud enough to be heard inside a closed car
- it sounds different, so people actually move aside when they hear it.

Because it isn't a friendly 'ring ring', I mostly use it when I really *really* need to get someone's attention, e.g. when a high-schooler is biking the wrong way in my lane, looking at a phone with earbuds in....

The air zound is cruel. It’s loud. It creates a jumping jack, use it on one of the trikes.
But despite its effectiveness I stayed at one. I have bells on all bikes.

Nothing beats expecting the car or person to do the wrong thing.

Don’t rely on a bell or bazooka. Though it’s polite or fun to notify some just don’t react how you might wish.
