This happened this morning in Oklahoma City.

I'm on a Q45, stopped at a light. Cop pulls up alongside me and stops at the light.

He rolls down the passenger side window, leans over and says "Hey! You got a motor on that thing?"

I looked over and said "What?"

He said "A motor! You got a motor on that thing?"

I said "Uh, no."

The light changed and he looked up at it and then back at me. "Okay."

He drove off and I pedaled off and that was that.

Hmm.

I rode yesterday and at the beginning of the ride my power meter data wasn't showing on my Lezyne Mega XL. I thought maybe it is a dead battery, or maybe just needs a light kick to get it connected but it didnt work. So, I just continued riding. On the way back up the river there was a really nice tailwind, so I was hoofing it a pretty good lick. A few of the gates were up so I had to literally stop for 1 of them and Flintstone my V20 through it. Kinda took it easy for the rest of the ride after that, but when I finally stopped and hit "upload" on Strava I noticed that all of the segments had "Excluded data" on it. A bit of research and snooping on the upload revealed that Strava considered my ride to be in an automobile or on a motorcycle because of those speeds, and maybe because there was no power meter data. I took it as a compliment lol, but unflagged it at home on my PC anyway.
