Most trainers work fine if you temporarily remove the (front) disc brake caliper .

I have a 2021 S40 with disc brakes and a Wahoo Kikr. No need to remove anything other than the handle on the trainer so the front drive wheel will have room.

As I understand what you guys are doing, is mounting your Cruzbike onto a Zwift/Wahoo, whatever cassette wheel thing and then rely on it to hold you upright? No back wheel stand?

I bought a Wahoo Kicker Snap to just use as a back wheel stand but find that the Q45 axle is about an inch too narrow for the Snap to clamp onto. Any ideas of how to get it to clamp onto the hub?

I have a set of Kreitler rollers that I was intending on using on the front wheel and rely on the back wheel stand to steady me.

Thoughts?

Use the Kickr Snap as a wheel-on trainer for your front (drive) wheel. The rear can be left alone, maybe supported by a block to keep level.

I tried a similar setup with Kreitler, except I used the Kreitler stand in the back, rollers in front.

It was an absolute no go. The bike kept veering off - too much pedal steer on the Kreitlers.

Just use the Snap in the front and enjoy.
