Had the misfortune of being hit by car. The steering tube on my Silvio 2.0 was sheered off by the impact.

If the steerer tube was sheared off, I think the whole frame and rear forks would have been deformed and strain hardened, then trying to reshape it will just create failure points!
Get the car insurance to replace the bike with a new S40!

the drivers personal liability insurance might pay he bike. I would ask for a compensation of damages and pain for suffering. Did the police note the accident's details? In case the insurance doesn't want to pay...
