okay. i know its winter. so what. i know i have not been riding out side every day, so what. i ve been a little busy.

BUT, i say we need to do a local ride. one day one ride lots of stops for coffee tea hot chocolate whatever (emphasis on the whatever)

the governor says she is going to open the restaurants up in February, so lets do a ride.

of course, i am suggesting we do it in my area. that means if you live within three hours of st. joe, you should come. indy people that means you. Chicago people you too Detroit you! Hollanders you!

for example we could do it in two weeks, and you all could go to the ice festival...

or maybe you all need to take your sig other on a snuggly trip to some b and b or hotel in st joe for valentines day weekend, but start it by sneaking off on Friday to ride.

or maybe we all just show up do our ride an go home.

we could do any of my normal rides or maybe something different. we can even wait to decide the ride till everyone is here. we have not had any real snowfall the roads have been pretty clear.

Whose with me on this?

Someday when the border opens we’ll get a romantic b&b.

Ps Cruzbike ups the romantic element.

I would love to, but being a young 49 yr old, the EARLIST I will get a vaccine for that virus of no name, is October 2021!!!

AND they still have armed guards, with BIG Alsatian dogs at all International airports!!!!
A NORMAL Aussy can not leave, UNLESS he is a member of an International Cricket team, Great Tennis player, Film Actor and crew, OR a Federal Parliament Member!!!!!

Happy Riding!!!

@super slim trust me they are sharp and effective. i always cut my hands a couple times putting them on and off. same ones i use on my trike for winter.
@Rsnoeyink you have ridden this bike so you know it does not suck. haven't you gotten a CB yet?

rode Friday only fell once.

hardpack good. ice covered asphalt great. climbing hardpack impossible. soft snow impossible on this narrow of a tire.
At least it would have been a soft landing!!!!!
Isn't this the weather for a TRIKE!!!!!
But with a Large diameter (26"), WIDE rear tyre for drive traction, as THREE separate tracks through the soft snow, not one as on a Bicycle!

just call me earl campbell LOL.

and yes my expedition with studded tire and a windwrap fairing is ideal for this type of riding, but where's the fun in riding the right bike for the right conditions all the time?

I was thinking more of Andrea Greipel in 1999 "Tour Down Under", where his thighs were huge and bumpy, like a body builder's!!!
If he was not on steroids then, I will go He!!!!

What is an Expedition???
Is it when you ride more than 10 km in one day?

How stable is it at high speeds (When going down a steep hill??), compared to a Greenspeed with Crossover steering?
