Just Bought the 24" Wheel Set for my Q45--In Time for OK Freewheel!

Hello, folks. I just bought the 24" wheel set for my Q45--in time for the Oklahoma Freewheel, which takes place first week of June, and then RAGBRAI in July. The main reason I want the smaller wheels is so I can pack my bike in a smaller suitcase to take to Europe, but I also thought it might be interesting to see how the smaller wheels make the bike perform generally and how it changes the handling, especially at slower speeds. Stay tuned for a report when they arrive and I put them on!

I wonder if anyone's tried the geometry with different size wheels on. I might experiment with that when I get the smaller wheels--it would be easy to put the 24" on the back and ride that around and see what's different. I already have the seat as reclined as it will go. A smaller back wheel would recline it a little bit more. Hmm....
