Just placed my order for a sofrider

Hi all I have been reading a lot of your forum and I decided to take the plunge. I have ordered a sofrider and now I can't wait for spring. I live very near the White Pine trail in west Michigan and it is a lovely trail that I have used frequently for bicycle riding and walking the dog. I formerly used a crank forward Giant(suede) bike and it was head and shoulders more comfortable that a diamond frame. I have had an bike-e but I didn't like the squirrely feeling it has with the small front tire. Plus it sat to low to the ground for my comfort. I am wondering what would be a reasonable goal for a summers worth of riding to get in shape. I suppose a goal of losing ten pounds would be a good start. I sure hope I like it. Best regards to all and happy cycling.

zen/child method
good plan

Patrick,
You just enjoy lots of those fresh summer fruits and veggies and explore that bike trail. I am sure the excess lbs will be left in the dust behind you.
Traillink say's the White Pine is 92 miles !! get a bike rack for your trailer hitch,,, and you could see it all.. a section at a time.

I am user been285 on myfitnesspal.com,, if you crave a like minded weightloss compairison.
My only real exercise for the past year has been my Day6 dream21 crankforward.
If I make my weight,, a shiny new cruzbike is gonna be my reward.

later........... bye

Thanks 1happyreader

I looked at the bike you are riding. I have a bad back and the backrest appealed to me. I opted for the cruzbike instead. The day6 does look like a comfy bike to ride. I am heading out to get some miles on my Giant Suede temp outside is 26F. Not sure how far I will go but I hope to get about 10miles in. Good luck on your goal. I hope you make it and get to reward yourself.
