Hello, I used Ikea LEGITIM also, it was very easy to prepare a hole using Dremel, my question - as a hasp is bended at the end, did used as it is or straightened out the end?

Looks good. I left my hasp as is, and didn't straighten it.
To prevent the protector cap coming off, I drilled a small hole through it and the hole in the hasp, and then filled it with the 2k glue that I had also used for the hinge:
