Kind air shock A5-RR1 on QX100 - suggested pressures?

Just bought the K5-RR1 dual chamber air shock for my QX100, based on recommendations on the forum. Any suggestions for the initial pressures in the two chambers? The instructions say 65-150 lbs in the main chamber, and that the negative pressure (valve marked NP) must not exceed the main pressure. I weigh 130 lbs.

Can the shock be pressurized before mounting, to avoid the problem ( noted in another post) that the rear rack may block one of the valves?

I weigh 170 and had the main chamber at 125 and the negative one at 100. I read that somewhere and it worked well for me. Note the rubber o-ring around the piston. Push it up to the top so when you put weight on it, or bounce over a bump, it slides down. That will measure how much the piston travels. I liked it to go down halfway during a ride but not more.

Yes you can absolutely pump it up before it's mounted.

And at least on the Q2 it wasn't the rack that was in the way, but the wheel blocking one valve or the frame blocking the other. Both could not be exposed at once. But in fact it's very easy to undo the quick release at the top of the shock, then the shocks pivots around and you can pump both valves easily. (support the bike while doing this, of course).

Hi Frank,
I remember reading about people having difficulty finding sources for it or worrying about ordering through unknown websites. Where and how did you purchase the shock if you have a source you trust or that delivered without any issues.
Cheers, Benphyr.

I ordered on Ebay from a seller called “bidnow4u2008”, for $74.96, including shipping. It was shipped the same day from Hong Kong, I believe, and got here (near NY city) in about 7 days. It came in the original box, with an instruction sheet in English, and seems to be new, although I’m waiting to get a shock pump today to try it out.
