Krispysteve headrest on my Silvio

As some of you know it isn't easy finding a headrest for your Silvio. I had talked to a couple of the guys making headrests for other bikes and Krispysteve (from BROL) was the only one willing to work with me while I figured out a mount for his headrest.
For the prototype I used stuf from around the bench, a 14" piece of 2" wide metal that I hacked off of an old carpenters square and a piece of conduit. I bent the metal to match the curver of the counduit (sort of) and attached the pieces together with a couple of self tapping screws. Later I had the 2 pieces brazed together.
After figuring out a good height for the headrest I attached the mount to the seat with a nut and bolt and a piece of velcro. There was already a hole drilled into the seat so I used it as the main anchoring point.

The pics in the next post show what I did. (I still can't figure out how to post a pic in an original post) It is a very comfortable and cool looking headrest.

I am making the next one out of aluminum and will attach it with only velcro to see how it holds up without a mechanical fastener.
