Large Panniers recommendations?

Recently purchased a new Q45 and ordered the rear pannier rack. The panniers that are sold on the Cruzbike website seem a bit small. I'm looking for recommendations for large bags.

I am using Vaude Aqua Back. According to manufacturer's info: Weight: 970 g Volume: 24 l Dimensions: 37 x 33 x 19 cm Max. load weight: 12 kg
Very good quality and water proof. Except that the inside pocket for water bladder broke at the hems after some months of use.

Thanks for the tip. I will go online and check them out. Have you been touring on your Q45?

FYI, I believe the stats listed above are for a single Vaude Aqua Back pannier, rather than a pair of bags.

Capt_mc, do you have a sense of how big of big bags you're looking for? The largest panniers I'm aware of for recumbents will be bags made specifically for recumbents. For example, Ortlieb's recumbent panniers are 72 liters for the pair, extremely rugged, waterproof, heavy and expensive. Similar giant-sized recumbent panniers are available from Radical Designs and slightly smaller ones (60L?) from Arkel.

Yes the stats are for a single bag not a pair.
The Vaude Aqua held up well in a 5-day-tour last year.
I have a pair of Ortlieb's recumbent panniers too but have never tried it on tour, so I cannot comment on their performance as touring equipment. Looks well made and tough though.

Yes I did. Here is my review of Q45 as a touring bike: https://forum.cruzbike.com/threads/korea-q45-solo-from-busan-to-seoul.12819/

Thank you all for your inputs. I'm just so happy with my new bike and I will check out your recommendations. I didn't realize Ortlieb make bags specifically for recumbent bikes. Wow.
