Good luck and best wishes! Remember to ride to your plan. It is easy to get sucked into the rush to jump on in front - unless of course that is your plan.
Sebring is a lot of fun, looking forward to your race reports.
Remember to watch for sand and grit in the corners - there can be quite a bit in places and often it is hard to see. Get to the awards early, they have a bad habit of starting too quick while folks are still showering, recovering, etc.

It's just past 8am now, and Gary and I are about an hour away from the track. With luck, will get a good chance to drive or ride the big loop, and the rI'de the track loop to get a feel for everything.

It's just past 8am now, and Gary and I are about an hour away from the track. With luck, will get a good chance to drive or ride the big loop, and the rI'de the track loop to get a feel for everything.

Man this would have been a great year to NOT skip Sebring. If I was there that would make 5 Vendettas. Jim, Maria, Larry, Gary, and me. Is there anyone else with a Vendetta racing this year?
Your weather at the moment looks a bit cooler than it was on Friday last year but the forecast so far for the 24 hour period looks about 2 degrees warmer than last year.

Charlie is riding last I heard.
Should be a pretty be recumbent field. Vite Racing has a large group of 15 on hand with John and Jacquie are crewing as starting a new line of bikes doesn't leave a lot of time to train.
Only shot from today was Larry scouting the route and stalking prey.

I'm still very post-surgical wounded, walking poorly, and still unable to ride. It may be weeks, if not months before I'm ready to get back on the bike.
We brought the extra bikes just in case someone needed a backup/replacement.

Yep a bad year to skip Sebring. Not only is it almost Vendetta nirvana down there but Bob sent me his crappy Minnesota winter weather: -11F for the morning with up to -35F windchill...
Just kidding Bob but please take it back. I don't like it.
3000 Miles to A Cure has some Google Glass stuff going on for the event tomorrow for those who would like to donate and cheer Maria and others along. I would encourage you to donate to the cause - I support it and believe strongly in what Maria and everyone on the 3000 Miles To A Cure team is doing to find a cure for brain cancer.
You can donate to send comments to the riders to be delivered at certain locations throughout the race for encouragement, etc.

Edit: Looks like this needs a bit more work. Maria's map is only showing the track and the 11 mile loop. It is now about 2.5 hours into the 12 hour which should put her up at the Reedy Lake turn around in Frostproof for the long loop and heading back.
Rob's map shows the long loop but unless Bike Sebring changed the route this year it is wrong.
