Off the long run
Now there is the obvious answer, which I already have, but I find myself wondering if there's something either lighter or better shaped to the bike.
I have an S40 which is now a long-distance commuter, and mighty fine it is at that. I've had a couple of trips to the office with it, all good. The old single pannier works just fine to carry emergency tools and the work laptop.
Question therefore, is there a way of carrying a 16" laptop on an S40 for 50 miles in the day without using a pannier? Looking at the moose pack, brain box, rack top bags etc, none of them seem to have the critical dimensions to make it possible. I don't massively mind, but I wonder if I'm missing something?
