Lumbar Support for S40

Looking to better support my lower back on S40. Currently using Ventiseat adding a dense foam pad btw the fiberglass seat and seat pad. Anyone have a way to add the needed padding within the ventiseat’s open nylon weave structure.

If you have the comfort pad it is doubled over and zip tied. You can cut the zip ties add lumbar support and re zip tie it shut. I did this to my pad with no issues.

If it is a single layer then you could probably figure out how to zip tie or double sided tap your lumbar support to the pad.

Harder than easier to do. I have the pic but need to compress it so I can post. Every time I try and upload a picture I get an error. Send me your email address and I can email you pictures. My email is dustycj@hotmail.com Just put Cruzbike in the subject line.

This is indeed a great idea and one I have done for various bikes.

I tried to add foam and extra lumbar padding to my stock T50 seat, with limited success.

Then I converted to a Thor GS Easy seat, and the improvement was dramatic! The glass fiber version with matching Ventitist pad and shipping was $200, $300 for carbon, and worth every penny.
