Hi Everyone,
I just purchased two Bike Friday SatRdays V2.0, and am amazed how easy it packs. One thing I think that could help the Quest for packability and knee clearance is a split butterfly/tweener bar that is on my BF bikes. The handlebars remind me of butterfly wings in their shape and provide great clearance for the knees. Additionally, I do not have to remove chainrings, cranks or deraillurs. The only disassembly is the stem, handlebars, seat and wheels.
I absolutely LOVE the SRAM dual drive. It is my first exposure to an IGH and its just fabulous.
John, with a little tweaking I know you will have the perfect folding and packing bike!
