Adjusting Handlebar
Trplay, I can think of two methods of further adjustment:
(1) Perhaps a stem/handlebar extension would do the trick for you. This would effectively move the handlebars upward and forward. By moving it upward you get more knee clearance, and by moving it forward you would get more clearance to sit up. For example, moving it up 6cm and forward 3cm would increase both sitting and knee clearance.
(2) Another way of achieving similar would be raising the stem height by putting in the largest spacer that would still allow the stem bolt to fit. This would raise the handlebar height, thus allowing you to shorten the boom without affecting knee clearance. I was thinking of trying this second easier and cheaper option, but haven't gotten down it yet. It wouldn't provide a big adjustment though. This is one area where the Vendetta is more adjustable...height of the stem and therefore position of the handlebar.
