Definitely not Cruzbike, definitely not FWD, but this is my latest project. I've been wanting to try a LWB for a long time and this was a deal I could not pass up on. Super light for it's age, though certainly short on frivialities, this bike has potential for being a pretty haul-butt machine. The seat leaves a lot to be desired, but that can be fixed!

Good luck on your project which you got for a very reasonable price.

It will transport on the rear rack pretty easily. I took the wheels off to bring it home, but I wouldn't have had to.

I had it in the back of my mind I was going to let a friend of mine ride it for awhile to convert him to recumbents. He busted himself up pretty badly in a few auto and motorcycle accidents over the years and has no business riding a DF bike, but he's one of these guys that it's all about the ego.... We'll see.

I think you can make a good recumbent out of your project. That was a good thought about letting your friend ride it. Since it’s RWD it shouldn’t be too difficult for someone to learn to ride. I liked this model that you got for a symbolic price you were very lucky I should think. I’m sure it will turn out very nice when you have finished with it.
