how does the rear wheel fit on the front fork dropouts? It appears to be too wide.

Hi,

That's why we turn the fork around backwards and use a set of adapter brackets to allow the 135mm rear hub to attach to the 100mm front dropout. The adapter brackets have an offset that allows this to happen.
