I think this report deserves a separate thread – it will be easier to find if anyone wants to go there in the future. 1,232 km – lots of velomobiles. In fact, it was a VM users' meetup, and just me on a Cruzbike S40 recumbent bike. This was my second time doing this brevet. Last time, in 2024, I rode it on a road bike. I am amazed by the beautiful route and the fact that it's daylight 24/7 – that is a total game changer!

Great video. I had been dreaming of flying over to France next year to attempt the PBP but I think I'd almost maybe prefer to try this one! It would be great to see what kit you have on your s40. How do you find it maintaining a straight line over such distances on the cruzbike? I think I'd probably get too tired and steer into a ditch

Wow! Amazing ride and beautiful photo. I'm sure that fully enclosed recumbent with little wind resistance just flew on the downhills. Your bike looks well equipped with the fatter tires. Thanks for sharing.
