Military applications for Cruzbike designs.

I was just watching a World War 2 documentary and the thought occurred to me about the bicycle in combat and would it be feasible to use a Cruzbike design like the Q45 or derivative ether purely man powered or an electrified version in military applications. Pratrooper or helibourne assault or light infantry or Military Police or just a general vehicle like a bicycle "Jeep".

I think a rear wheel drive bicycle would be a better choice. It would have better traction, with poor road/trail conditions.

Probably more use in base than in the field. Hire bikes, cargo bikes, + electric versions. Then it becomes the same arguments about ease of use, cost, resistance to maintenance etc.
