Mirrors only for USA?

Rear view mirror, bar-end (USA only)

I'm a dealer and live in Grimstad Norway.
If a customer wants to order a Vendetta or another Cruzbike model they can't get a mirror?

Don't we that live outside USA need mirrors?
Seriously is that because the manufacturers of mirrors and water bottle holders want the customers outside of USA to buy their products from their local dealers?

Hi Peder,
it is not fruitful

Hi Peder,

it is not fruitful for us to buy a mirror in the US, have it delivered to NC and to then pack the mirror with a bike to be sent outside the US. We do not try to make profit from mirrors or other accessories. These common items are best purchased from your local bikeshop or by a local e-tailer.

Zefal

Hi Peder, The Zefal Spy mirrors are available very cheaply in Europe. I use them on both sides of my present recumbent. Around London you need to keep an eye out for some of the idiot car drivers we have here. My next purchase may well be a Contour Roam 2 helmet cam so I've got a record of the driver who cut me up.
I'm a member of SMIDSY over here "Sorry Mate I Didn't See You". They take up bad driving issues and a helmet cam is good evidence.
This video may be exceptional but there are a lot of aggressive drivers in the UK. http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/video/2012/feb/17/bus-driver-cyclist-attack-video Personally, I find France to be one of the most considerate countries when it comes to cycling.

Mirrors

I'm still happiest using my eyeglass mirror, having tried pretty much all the mounted variants like MIrraCycle and Zefal. Interestingly, when I did the Ride Across Britain (on my DF bike) this year my eyeglass mirror got a lot of comments. I didn't see any British riders wearing one.

I did get a Zefal spy mirror

I did get a Zefal spy mirror for my Vendetta.
It's a very good mirror and fits very well with the Vendetta.

I have used different mirrors earlier but never used the Zefal spy mirror before now.

I have used a Safe-Zone Helmet Mounted Mirror on all the recumbents I have used in combination with other mirrors.

With the Vendetta I'm thinking about getting a new helmet and not using a Safe-Zone Helmet Mounted Mirror just using the Zefal spy mirror.

Grimstad is a very small city the center of town is very small we only have one stop light.
The traffic is very light and most of the rides I do is on rural roads.
Getting a camera is a good idea for traffic you need one in front and back.

Most of the drivers here are very polite and there are many cyclists on the roads.

I have also thought about getting a camera but that is mostly for showing the Vendetta among club members and filming some of the beautiful scenery here.
