Hi All
Last night I searched on Amazon Prime movies for Biking movies and found this one.
Back Pedal
Tonight I watched it. It was an interesting documentary on biking in Charleston SC. I found it very eye opening to see how drivers were not tolerant of sharing the road with cyclist. It's not a "how to" movie. Its about the history and cycling laws the city has passed in the last 10 years. Charleston is touristy small town with a nice climate. A great place to ride and explore thee historic town. The only problem, based on the movie, it's not a bike friendly town. The drivers want us on the sidewalks and the town government is slow to encourage cycling infrastructure.

That problem is almost universal. There is some big blindness towards cycling in general

1. Cycling tourism brings money and livens up the small business
2. It is good for transport up to 5-7 km
3. Good for the health and the environment.

Yet, there is less drive towards cycling. Many think cyclits as a different species and an invading insect that causes disorder and slow things down.
