Must remember to put on my Black Magic sailing gloves when getting caught riding the Quest in the bloody rain. The damn twist shifters are exceedingly slippery when wet with wet hands. I couldn't shift when the rain was really dumping on me...
The palms of the Black Magic sailing gloves are a thin leather with some kind of really good coating for handling wet sheets, etc. Sheets are ropes for you land lubbers..
Fortunately I wasn't in too high of a gear on the cassette so I was able to manage by using the IGH shifter and adjusting my pedaling accordingly.
Very refreshing rain otherwise....
