It is with a heavy heart that I make that announcement  Im looking to replace my S30 and thought Id see if anyone is willing to part with one in good shape. Looking for a complete bike or just the frame set. Short of that please keep an eye out locally in case one shows up. Thanks, Hal

Unfortunate. Will you post a full description of the bike, the components, and maybe anything that's unique about your build? For example, is it the one with full suspension or only the rear?

I've been on the lookout for one and I would not want to buy a stolen one. I'm sure the rest of the community would say the same. Keep scanning Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, eBay, and Bentrider Online. Whomever stole it did it for the cash, not to ride it. There are only a few places where they will find a buyer. With Christmas coming, it's definitely going to show up for sale somewhere.

Another thought, email the folks at the Laidback Bike Report and see if they will mention it in their next video. Just about everyone who follows recumbents on YouTube will see it.

Thanks guys! Been looking locally. Was recabling the bike so they didnt even get the complete bike. Still have the carbon seat and accessories in the parts bin. Im still holding out hope that I can find the frame and front triangle but my fear is that it got sold for aluminum scrap. Tis a bummer for sure!

Given that the average price of scrap aluminum in the USA these days is like $0.45 - $0.50 a pound, a few bucks wouldn't be the best return for the thief. A quick web search would let them know that they have something worth over a grand as-is, and could probably turn it over for at least a few hundred. No, I would bet that your bike is not in a scrap pile.

Man, I'm terribly sorry this happened to you. If this is the rear suspension only model, then it's a fairly rare bike and quite a loss. I hope you replace it with something equivalent or better. Best of luck in your search!
