Good afternoon fellow Vendetta Riders!
After changing my stock seat, I wasn't able to use the hydration system I previously used, so I ended up using a bag mounted to my seat with room for a 2 liter bladder...
I didn't like it, because I like to drink cold water. I couldn't keep the bladder cold and when I use Ice, it caused a lot of condensation. I decided I needed to go back to a vacuum bottle system....
I ended up buying a rivet nut gun and drilling holes in the ribs of my Thor seat (using a water bottle cage as a guide for spacing). After getting the nuts inserted, I used a piece of aluminum bar stock from Lowes. I measured it against the bottles and drilled 3 holes... the top hole would be used as both a mounting point for both the bottle holder and a means of affixing the Dryer Clamp (with thumb screw).
The 2nd hole was just used to mount the bottle holder to the seat and the 3rd hole was used to affix the 2nd dryer clamp to the water bottle holder (toward the bottom of the bottle).
I bent the aluminum bar stock, so the bottom of the bottle would rest on it when secured.
Once complete, I sprayed multiple coats of plasti-dip coating, so it wouldn't rattle and scratch the water bottles...
I re-used my Camelbak Eddy Bottle tube on my Bubba Bottle straw. https://www.amazon.com/CamelBak-Edd...ords=camelbak+eddy+tube&qid=1629734187&sr=8-3
The bottles are 40oz each.
I usually only need one bottle, so I'm going to make a PVC storage container, roughly the same size as my 40oz bottle... good place to put stuff I may want to carry...
I'm going to test this out this afternoon on some rough roads and see how it works View attachment 11992
