Here is another special little Quest Tour 406
Installed an in-line cable adjuster up top for the 10spd SRAM X7 carbon long cage dérailleur, and a Lizard Skin chainguard for extra protection...which will be necessary when I install the motocross knobbies for some off-road testing. The Cruzbike elliptical chainring smoothes out the pedal stroke, and the chainguard will be a nice feature when casing the Tour up for travel.
The SRAM Apex doubletap brifters are one of my favorite systems and work perfectly with the Avid BB7 road disc brakes.
Love the Pletcher double legged kickstand, just need to zip tie on a thick bump guard so it doesn't knock the swingarm when folding the kickstand up or going over jarring bumps. The rear shock is uber plush especially on top of the Big Apples.
Riding the custom Quest Tour 406 feels like you are flying in a small sport plane, whereas the Mini feels more like an urban mini-ute.
Have to admit that this is my favorite riding Cruz-build to date!!!
