My S40 is Here!!

After a year of enjoying every minute on my V20, I decided to add to my Cruzbike collection. Today, a box arrived with the S40. This will be used as my tourer and eventual commuter bike. I went ahead and used Cruzbike's standard component set. Watch this thread over the next few days for comparisons between the V20 and S40. And now, time to do a little building

I stayed with the Velocity Wheels in their standard "Complete" build. If I would upgrade wheels, I would do it on the V20.

Sorry guys, I've been having so much fun with this that I have completely forgotten I started this thread. The S40 is a very different bike than the V20. Because you are more upright, it is a bit more stable. In fact, I've gotten to the point where I can go no-hands with this one. (I still can't do that with the V20). Also, not as efficient, in part due to the standard tires I got with it. At the moment, I am about 2mph slower than I am on the V20. Still, this is a very nice bike to take on the MUP or use in the city. The V20 is great for those long rides where stopping and starting never happens. More soon. --Dave
