Sorry to be a pain to you pros. But I'm getting ready to just sell my bike. I've taken it out 5 times now. When I purchased it the guy said I'll be use to it in 20 minutes or less. NOT the case. I've watched all the vidoes on Youtube and you guys make it look SO easy. My legs just won't let me stear the bike. What the heck?!

Are you comfortable just

Are you comfortable just rolling and steering with your feet off the pedals?

How is your rolling?

Hi newtothis. How is your rolling? open palms then feet on peddles, do not rotate peddles. When you roll comfortably in line or wide arch, then take feet off peddles. Should you feel uncomfortable then take feet off peddles.

I wrote the cruzbike riding instructions and for now just repeat above. In reverse would you be able to send me a video of this initial lesson? We can be sure to bring you along. There are other helpful hints though the most common is relax.

Please reply me, cruzbiking@yahoo.com.au and I will follow along with you, ok?

best,

It takes time

Ok, full disclosure, I'm selling my Silvio because I never could get fully comfortable with the FWD, and didn't feel safe on descents,of which local riding contains many. However, it is clear to me that it takes quite a while to get comfortable on a CZ even on straight flat roads. It is just so different from a regular bike. However, I am now comfortable on the flats. So if you are willing to persevere and really take the time climb the learning curve you will get there. Initially, however, it is quite scary, no question.

One more thing (I would say

One more thing (I would say one last thing, but I don't believe that...)

If you are riding and you feel like it's goin' south , take your feet off of the pedals. This will let your hands take over as they normally do. Within the first month, you should find that you never need to do this anymore.

Cheers,
Charles

  I always use the handelbars

I always use the handelbars for steering. If the bike gets squirley just stop peddling.Plenty of people pick it up under 20 min. Just spend as much time as you need in an parking lot. Jack
