That's pretty cool. My wife will just roll her eyes and ask why I keep buying bike stuff!
I've seen a few roadies with those, and like that it has a lense. At the top of the lense the lines and air flow seem to be really smooth before it gets to the vents. On a recumbent I think it is important to prevent air from entering under the lense when our heads are tilted back. For 1 it stops bugs and other stuff from getting in our eyes, and 2, it seems that air entering under the lense would slow us down. When I tilt my current helmet which is a Limar 007 with a DIY Giro Air Attack lense, the lense actually touches my cheekbones. So, how close can you get the bottom of the lense to your cheekbones by tilting the helmet forward with your Vanquish?
In my usual riding position there’s less than 1 cm gap. The helmet may be tipped forward some to make the visor touch the cheeks, but I like some air flow.
POC have neon orange helmets.
The POC Zink Orange is a close match to the S40’s Neon Orange. I use this helmet/visor combo whenever I want sun & rain coverage, not so much for color coordination.
