Measure the stock eye to eye distance, the width of the eye, the eye hole/bolt hole diameter, and compare the stock shock/mounting bracket measurements
to the replacement shock. If the measurements match, then your new shock will fit.
I replaced the original coil spring shock on my 451 Quest about a year ago with a Kind AR5 (single chamber) air shock. The old shock squeaked continuously; this one is silent. It also rides a bit better and weighs about 1/4th as much. (I weigh 225) It holds air well, I check the pressure about every 3 months and it requires minimal refilling. It's been a very positive upgrade.
V3 sofrider 165 mm eye to eye shock. The kind shock spring damper failed now replaced with DNM damper with longer kind spring oem. May try DNM air shock been great on hurricane.
edit replaced with DNM air shock very nice ride recommend just do it.
