Anyone who laughs at someone trying to learn something wont learn much in their lives. It took me longer than I expected but things I used to find very hard on the S40 are now natural and under control.

It put me off riding for a while but got back on.

On other sites, Facebook and Youtube I read plenty of comments about "pedal steer" among other stuff. Yeah, if you want to use that as a negative to complain about MBB you can, but it can also be used as a positive. I was lazy and got a late start but hoped to be able to squeeze in 62 miles today before the sun set and it got too cold. Since I forgot to put in my headphones at the start, on the downwind section in the beginning I kept riding while I used both hands to unzip my tailbag, fish my head phone case out, put my head phones in my ears which meant going under my face mask and under my beanie, and had to put the case back into my tailbag, and zip it up. While doing that, I had to avoid some of the branches and small sticks that had fallen from the heavy winds onto the cycling path. To a small extent I was able to use pedal steer even though the majority of input came from leaning the bike to weave through the clear spots. So, pedal steer can be advantageous.
