Yesterday I received the new V20c frameset---looks great! Although will take me a while to assemble, as still waiting on some parts. I also ordered the long chainstay, and thought folks might be interested in seeing how it compared to the chainstay sizes for the original V20. My understanding is that there were three sizes for the original V20 (and I ended up owning and trying all three), but that there will be two for the new V20c---the regular size that comes with the bike, and a longer version that can be ordered separately.
Below is a picture of the new long chainstay beside the original long chainstay. As you will see in the pictures, the new one is a bit shorter than the original one, and I imagine this may due to trying to find a compromise since there will only be this one longer chainstay, as opposed to the two longer chainstays that were available for the original V20. For me, this should work out well as I thought the original long one was a bit too long and raised the bottom bracket too high, but obviously may not be the case for everyone.
