Happy, Happy in northwest Indiana!!! bought my CRUZBIKE conversion kit about three weeks ago, put it on a fresh Wally world NEXT NITRO mtb, waited for the lbs ordered bottom bracket, and put it all together!!! silly me, I thought this was going to be tuff! already been down the driveway a couple times, alittle wobble, yes,,, but i didn't end up in the landscaping like I did in '92 when trying to build a "no-weld". I moved to Cedar Lake, IN about 6 years ago, and stopped riding my HALUZAC HYBRID-RACE as I tired of fixing pinch flats- baby, these roads are rough!!! Yes I'll be adding pics when I get a camera, but for now, I'm riding again!!! anyone want a swb uss recumbent? Hal was good to me for about five years, but it's tired of hanging in the rafters for the past six. Oops I digress, Already have plans and some parts for mods to the Nitro Cruz and yes pics are comming. Howdy neighbors, my CRUZ-N-N riding days have begun! first ride was down to the corner and back, wobbly? yes,but only came off the pedals once! a total distance of maybe 100 yards. nothing jammed, broke, or fell off. hoo-ra. Looks like a Cruz-n-n weekend ahead! still no pics but I'm trying. see ya's on the road!.....w
Hello Mark B, it's good to hear from you. Sorry I didn't get to any questions, but it went together pretty smooth! I bought a 28" moon bar from choppersusa, a bottom bracket, seat post, and front derailer from my lbs, and just happened to have a brake cable to use up front! I'm still running on 26x1.95 knobbies for flat protection and traction on the gravel road out front. once I put a few miles on 'er, baby gets the nose fairing from my old 'bent, followed by a homebrew tailbox. well sir, Ive got chores, while at the laundromat, I'm going to practice in their parkinglot,,, as long as I'm there. ...w
