OK, I win

OK, I think I win for the weirdest thing found on a bike ride. At least for today.

I was riding along, minding my own business, when I rolled through a debris field, like from a car accident, like the one where the car flipped over, plowed through the fence and was still laying there with the headlights on. So, I pull over, dial 911 and all the time, I hear rustling around in the orange grove across the road from the accident. When the police arrived, I told them I think the driver is wandering around in the orange grove. Nobody was in the car, it had obviously just happened and yet, nobody looked in the grove. I told two different officers AND the dispatcher. I give up. Finally, I got back on my bike and rode on to work.

I also saw an accident on my ride to work. The lady was not hurt her front wheel was too far on the shoulder and she lost control. The police and the rescue car were already there when I passed. I cross that road riding over the bridge in the background. Mark’s experience was much more dramatic. http://www.agderposten.no/article/20080723/LOKAL8/919403645/1001/ABONNEMENT
